I left San Francisco California for my first international business trip. I arrived in Bombay on June 23rd and will be here for 3 months. I expect to befriend Bollywood stars, start a metal club and become a jetsetter.

I miss you too!! It can be lonely here. I am becoming more independent and going out, but I wish I could hang out with you guys sometimes too...
If it makes you feel better, I'm lonely too! I broke down while I was trying to fix my car's windshield wipers yesterday in the fog. I was like, 'I should not be doing this! I am SO ALONE!' - but granted it's no comparison to being half a world away.
Good to see you're serious about exporting Priya-style debauchary and mayhem to the subcontinent. The 4th was a lot of fun, but your mayhem was sorely missed. And Sara, where do you get your meatball sandwiches from?

you should try the chicken parmesana sandwiches from V cafe at 11th x folsom. Will swears by them.
that's it, I'm making chicken parmesana here. Except there is no parmesan. No cheese except for weird creamy cheese that you spread with a knife.
does india have goat cheese?
India is not a huge cheese country. Cheese here is very mild and tastes like butter. So, no strong tasting goat cheese here!
so like cream cheese? that kinda sounds good. butter cheese on toast.
actually, it IS really good and I have it on extra buttery Ritz crackers. I feel pudgier and pudgier. The food here is too good!!
