Look, I was really excited to go out tonight. See how excited I am? Don and I went to a WONDERFUL restaurant across the street. Walking across the street was F'ING SCARY AS ALL HELL with the trucks and buses and rickshaws and motorcycles and cars, but we finally did it. We got kebab and a spicy potato dish that RULED with roti and naan. Then we decided to go to a bar a few doors down. We walked in and I noticed that
the sofas were dis-GUSTING with cigarette burns and that there were women all over the place. At first I was like, are they waiting for their friends to show up or something? They were smiling a little to friendly and I gasped and exclaimed, "IS this a. . " and Don finished "BROTHEL!!" We quickly got up and left. It was pretty hilarious. Notice the cool green lighting.
We finally made it back to the ritzy hotel and went to their swank bar and look at how happy Don looks! We got drinks and now I am ready to pass out!!!

I tell him to smile and he won't. But he is totally laughing and having a good time. Until I take out the camera.

That place was DISGUSTING. I can't believe I got smiled at by prostitutes. Oh my gawd that was weird. And there were 3 seedy guys on another couch just eyeing the women, who were standing around uncomfortably. I only figured it out when they kept smiling at us and moving closer. At that point we both freaked out and realized we should leave.
yeh that brothel sounded icky. i laughed when you said you thought all those women were waiting for their friends.
at least you had a delicious dinner before and ended your night in the hotel's ritzy bar. :-) -L
